We are almost at “that time of year” again and eagerly looking forward to our Christmas Tree Festival. This will take place in St George’s Church, Toddington on Saturday, 8th and Sunday, 9th December 2018. The event will be open from 1.00 to 5.00 pm on both days and will cost £2.50 for adults (accompanied children get in free). There will be refreshments and stalls in the Wilkinson Hall and a super raffle.
In addition, this year, we are holding a preview evening on Friday, 7th December 2018 with wine and canapes and a chance to look around before the main event. Tickets will cost £10 and need to be bought in advance. To find out how to do this please contact us using this link.
The Festival will end on Sunday evening with Carols around the Trees. Come along during the weekend and see the magic!
We are thrilled to be able to hold our Christmas Tree Festival again this year after a few years break. The trees will be in St George’s Church, Toddington on Saturday, 9th December and Sunday, 10th December 2017 between 1.00 and 5.00 pm on both days. Entrance will cost £2.50 per adult.
On Sunday we shall finish with carols among the trees. We hope you will join us. Refreshments and stalls will be available in the Wilkinson Hall on both afternoons when the festival is open.
During Saturday afternoon there will be two musical intervals while visitors are in church. At 2.30 pm children from Toddington St George’s School will sing to us and at 3.30 pm we welcome the Music Makers to play.
We look forward to welcoming you all and hope you will support us. All money raised will be used for repair and restoration of our Parish Church.
This year’s Christmas Tree Festival was a resounding success. The trees were wonderful and every year we are amazed at how inventive people can be and just how much work they put in to their trees. We made an amazing £1,800. Thank you to all those people who decorated the trees, came to admire them and most of all to those who worked so hard over the weekend to provide refreshments, man stalls and act as stewards.
Merry Christmas from the Friends of Toddington Parish Church!
